We’re seeing red… or maybe not, now that Tim and Ariel got their hands on it.
The last of the red wallpaper has officially come down in Paul’s Library, leaving a clean slate for what comes next. Tim and Ariel had the cameras rolling, capturing some oddly satisfying wallpaper-peeling footage and, as usual, a few laughable moments of their own!
And while things are coming down in Paul’s Library, something else is officially going up! The Mansion’s elevator is working again! The repair team quickly tracked down the problem and had it moving between floors before the day was over.
There’s progress overhead, too. Bob finished the new tongue-and-groove ceiling in the Media Room, which also happens to hide one of our favorite features: a secret door. As we’ve connected with family and friends who remember the Mansion, we’ve heard plenty of stories about its hidden spaces, including that this one may have once been the secret hiding spot for Christmas presents!
