☘️ Happy St. Patrick’s Day from the Mansion! ☘️

We are counting our lucky stars this month for the amazing community we are growing with this incredible Mansion Project and even though March may be the month of green, our viral ketchup video has us all seeing red!

The video has officially passed 6 million views, and the internet doesn’t seem to be done talking about it!

We're also excited this month about our growth on Facebook. If you haven't checked out @mansiononwaverlyhill over there, you may be missing some major interesting Mansion conversations. We are approaching 150,000 followers on Facebook and it's very active, so check it out!

Some of you are the OG Founders Club and some are part of a growing new group that have been added to our wait list to STAY when we open. The one thing everyone has in common is the overarching question "WHEN IS THE MANSION OPENING?!"

We hear it and answered that question in comments on social media like crazy. We have gotten a bit delayed by the bad weather and some setbacks caused by new water damage that is gnarly but great to get all this pressure tested before we open.

Coming up we will be launching our website and beginning to take reservations. We hope to have a bunch of friends and family of the Mansion late this summer and into the Fall. Promise you we will have a massive Christmas gala! Thanks for the patience and stay tuned!

Meanwhile at the home, crews are making big strides with spackling, molding, and painting. We’re seeing huge progress in every room.

A recap on the progress happening at the Mansion on Waverly Hill!

* Colors upon colors! We’re getting more paint up on the walls - who wants to help us organize these paint buckets?

* Floor contractors are officially on site repairing and refinishing to come soon!

* We’re repairing the arch in the ballroom. Who’s following along with the progress?

* We are still dealing with some rain gutter damage, but we are resourceful! Thanks to our caretaker, Tim, for the MacGyver bucket!

Sometimes it’s the smallest details that end up stealing the show!

A perfect example is the pair of ornate emerald green tulip sconces featured in the grand hallway. With their rich color and sculptural glass, they bring a beautiful glow and a touch of old-world elegance to the space. It’s the kind of detail that immediately draws your eye the moment you step into the hall.

Frances absolutely loves them, and the entire team agrees! They’re one of those special features that make the Mansion feel so unique.

St. Patrick’s Day season in Northeast Pennsylvania means one thing: parades!

The celebrations kick off with the Pittston St. Patrick’s Parade, a beloved local tradition that fills Main Street with music, marching bands, and Irish pride. The following weekend brings the legendary Scranton St. Patrick’s Parade, held annually since 1962 and often ranked among the largest in the United States.

Over 12,000 annual participants and nearly 150,000 spectators turn downtown Scranton into a sea of green. And the festivities continue the next weekend with the Wilkes-Barre St. Patrick’s Day Parade, another lively celebration full of floats, music, and community spirit.

Once we’re open, these festivities will make March an ideal month to book your stay and join in on the celebration!

With St. Patrick’s Day around the corner, we’re sharing a simple classic: Irish Soda Bread. This traditional quick bread has been made in Irish kitchens for generations, no yeast required, just a few pantry staples and a hot oven. It’s hearty, slightly sweet, and perfect served warm with butter, yep, sign me up!
